Introduction In Matthew 15, the scribes and Pharisees came to Jesus and challenged him concerning the traditions of the elders. Jesus replied to them in verses 7-9, "Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'" Last time we discussed how people give up the commandments of God to follow the traditions of Men in the discussion of celebrating Christmas as a religious holiday. My God is better than Your God

Introduction Some people who identify themselves as Christians talk about having a personal relationship with God. Some to the point of them referring to Him as “My God”. This is fine until someone gets too personal and changes things in scripture to suit themselves. In Genesis 1:26-27 it reads, Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God created us but the way some people talk, they act as if they are the ones who created God.
